Christmas Shopping Night Report |
|
Despite a huge thunderstorm sweeping over Melbourne during the afternoon, around 140 people made their way through the flooded streets to attend the Kampuchea House Annual Christmas Shopping Night on Thursday 28th November.
With plenty of beautiful food to nibble on and the champagne flowing, all the stalls were kept busy with plenty of sales during the evening.
Our sincere thanks to the following stall holders for their efforts in making the night such a great success.
• Cat’s Whiskers Jewels hand selected jewellery, pashminas and accessories. • Ticketyboo’s Christmas decorations and soaps. • Pebble Lane’s cookies and super handmade soy candles. • Jacki Anderson’s beautiful Christmas puddings. • Tini’s wonderful handmade wool and felt bags. • Zariah’s handmade costume jewellery . • Jamie Saddock’s fabulous golf shifts • Sue Trethowan-Jones with her beautiful jewellery.
Thank you to everyone who came along on the evening . With your support we raised a total of $4,500 to support the important work of Kampuchea House.
Also many thanks for their hard work to the committee members who ensured the night ran smoothly by serving the food and drinks, selling raffle tickets, manning stalls etc.
Thanks to those who provided the delicious food, donated raffle prizes, and to Karen and Stewart Connelly for donating the champagne. And a big thank-you to Libby and Rae for opening up their home for the night.
