Norm and Les safely home.

This year's ride was really a mixed bag - oppressive heat, driving rain, red dust, orange mud, winds and, of course, lots of kilometres.

Both Norm and Les found parts of the ride very strenuous, Les more so. For him, the ride was far more arduous than last year's ride.

The amount of money raised is unknown at this stage and will take a while to reach a final total. Both the boys were treated to a free meal when they arrived in Sihanoukville, courtesy of Pim (Pim's Restaurant) and Andre(Angelo's Taverna). Andre also gave a US$250 donation and Pim has pledged to treat the children when the next holiday is taken in Sihanoukville.

For Les, it was his last ride...or so he says. From now on, Les' function will be to organize the event on the ground in Cambodia. Big plans are afoot for next year's ride and these will be announced shortly.

A full report of the ride will be online in the next few hours.
